These terms apply to Certificates by Agilecode. By creating an account or using the certificate tools, you agree to these terms. Contact info@agilecode.co.ke if you need help.
Your account
Provide accurate account information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity authorised through your account and for using an email address you control. If you use the service for an organisation, you must have authority to act for that organisation.
Issuing certificates
You are responsible for the accuracy of recipient names, award wording, dates and issuer details. Only issue certificates you are authorised to issue. Do not create false qualifications, impersonate another issuer, use unauthorised logos or signatures, or misrepresent accreditation.
Preview and check your certificate before issuing it. The service records the information you provide. Agilecode does not assess the recipient’s achievement or independently accredit a course, qualification or issuing organisation.
Your content and recipient information
You retain ownership of the content you provide. You give Agilecode permission to process and display it as needed to save projects, generate certificates and provide verification. You must have the necessary rights and permissions for uploaded images, signatures and recipient information.
An issued certificate’s verification link or number reveals its recorded public details. Anyone with access to a valid verification record can also download the certificate PDF, including its logo and signature artwork. Explain this to recipients and avoid including unnecessary personal information. Read the privacy notice for more detail.
Certificate credits
New accounts include 3 certificate credits. One credit is used when one certificate is issued for one recipient. Previewing a project and downloading the same issued certificate again do not use more credits. A newly issued replacement is a separate certificate.
Purchased credits do not expire and are associated with the account that purchased them. Credit packs are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal. The current pack quantities and prices are shown on the pricing page and confirmed at checkout.
Payments and payment problems
Credit pack prices are shown in Kenyan shillings. M-Pesa credits are added after confirmed payment. A pending request or a prompt on your phone is not itself confirmation of payment.
If you are charged and your credits do not appear, contact support with your account email and payment reference before making another payment. If a purchase is duplicated, incorrect or affected by a service fault, contact us promptly so we can investigate and discuss the appropriate correction or refund. Consumed certificate credits cannot be restored merely because an issued certificate is no longer needed.
Templates and permitted use
You may use the provided templates to produce certificates through the service and share the certificates you issue. Do not resell or redistribute the template library as a competing template product. You may share or print your issued certificates for their intended purpose.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and maintain stored projects and verification records. Maintenance, faults or circumstances outside our control can interrupt access. Keep copies of important certificates and recipient records. We may improve features, update templates or change prices for future purchases.
Misuse and account restrictions
We may restrict access to investigate fraud, unauthorised access, abusive use or breaches of these terms. Do not interfere with other accounts, bypass credit controls, upload harmful files or attempt to access information you are not authorised to view. Contact support if you believe an account restriction is incorrect.
Responsibility and support
You remain responsible for the certificates and claims issued by your organisation. If a problem occurs, tell us promptly with enough information to investigate. Nothing in these terms removes rights or obligations that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Contact and updates
Agilecode is based in Kenya. Contact info@agilecode.co.ke or +254 721 589 325 about the service. We may update these terms as the product changes; the effective date above identifies this version.
