Prepare a clean recipient list
Use one row for each recipient. Download the CSV example from your project and follow its column headings. Keep a separate copy of your original attendance or assessment records, and remove duplicate or ineligible recipients before importing.
Confirm names before importing
Ask recipients to confirm their preferred printed names. Check accents, initials and surname order. Save your spreadsheet as a UTF-8 CSV so names with accented characters are preserved. Avoid adding unnecessary private information to the file.
Create a shared certificate design
Set up a project for the course or event. Choose a template, add the title, issuer, wording, date and signatory details, and preview your design. Details shared by the whole group belong in the project so they stay consistent.
Import and review before issuing
Upload up to 250 recipients in one CSV and review the imported names. For a larger group, issue the first batch before adding the next. Check the total against your original list, correct errors and preview representative names. Bulk issuance requires one credit for each certificate, so check your balance before issuing the batch.
Download the batch and keep a record
Issue the certificates once the list is correct, then download the PDFs or prepare a ZIP archive. ZIP downloads are available for 24 hours; you can request another export afterwards. Each certificate has its own verification record. Share certificates only with the intended recipients and keep your project organised with a descriptive name such as “September customer service training”.
Create a certificate
Choose a certificate template and create your first project. New accounts include 3 certificate credits. See pricing and M-Pesa credit packs when you need more.
