Choose the certificate type

Use a completion certificate when someone has finished a course or programme. Choose participation for attendance at an event, appreciation to recognise a contribution, or achievement for a specific result. The title should describe what the person actually did.

Choose a template and add your organisation

Browse the template gallery, choose a design and create a project. Enter your organisation name, certificate title and the course, event or achievement. Add an authorised logo and signature image if you want them to appear. A restrained colour palette keeps the result easy to read.

Write specific, concise certificate wording

A simple structure works well: “This certificate is presented to [Recipient name] for successfully completing [Course or programme].” Add the issue date, signatory name and role. If the award depends on an assessment, use wording that accurately describes the assessment.

Check the recipient and preview the design

Add the recipient’s name as they want it printed. Check spelling, dates, the organisation name and any course details. Preview a certificate with the longest name in your group to confirm that the text fits comfortably.

Issue, download and share

When the details are correct, issue the certificate. One certificate credit is used for each recipient. Download the PDF for printing or share its verification link. Keep a copy of your recipient list and the final course details for your own records.
